Interviewer: For how long have you already been using the Krones eShop?

Jonas de Langhe: I think I started using it about 5 years ago and just tried to find out how it works on my own. Because it was in a changing period where we had a new night shift, so my colleague that gave me a schooling was transferred to the night shift. And consequently I had to find out a lot for myself and that really helped me a lot to work out how to use the Krones eShop. If you take time, it is self explanatory and you can find out on your own how it is working. An additional plus, you get more used to the machines scrolling through the parts lists, electrical drawings, etc. Everything is self explanatory and useful. You can jump from one parts list to the other and don’t have to search in paper documentation.

Interviewer: How has Krones.shop made your business easier?

Jonas de Langhe: Mostly it is very easy to search for parts, also through the electrical drawings which you don’t have on paper. Sometimes if you are right next to the machines it can also be useful to have the paper documentation, but mostly it is easier on the computer.

Interviewer: Is there anything that surprised you on Krones eShop?

Jonas de Langhe: In general, it’s just a very handy tool for me. Almost everything is there – from the big parts to the little ones.

Interviewer: Why would recommend the Krones eShop to other customers?

Jonas de Langhe: It’s an easy overview of the whole line – mechanically as well as electrically – and it safes a lot of paper. Funny story, just last week we cleared our cabinets and desks, we had two big cabinets full with all the folders with drawings, electrical documentations, but now it is all replaced with the eShop. It is no longer really necessary to have the documentation on paper – its all online. So we are also saving a lot of space with the eShop and it’s also better for the environment.
Also the documentation on paper gets obsolete easily, the eShop on the other hand is updated regularly.
